King’s Cup Finals
DKV Joventut, from Badalona, Spain is the new winner of King’s Cup, the second most important competition in Spain.
In the final game, DKV Joventut played against TAU Cerámica, the local team. The match was very emotionant, because both teams played their best basketball.
But one name: Rudy Fernández, player from DKV Joventut, or as the team is known, “La Penya” was the key of the game. He was the MVP, because his 32 points.
TAU Cerámica was during the whole game winning with average advantages of 5 points, but in the last minutes of the Cup, with 3 points of Mallet and another three made by Rudy.
But the best moment of this game was coming. 28 seconds before the end, Ricky Rubio in the 1 point line. He did not miss the opportunity, and make two points which gave the Cup to DKV.
Before that, in the Semifinals, TAU Cerámica won Iurbentia Bilbao Básket, the new sensation of this season in a very complicated game for the locals, because of the high level of Iurbentia’s players.
Also, DKV Joventut won the actual ACB League leader, Real Madrid, 76-81 in which Rudy Fernández, Ricky Rubio and Bullock were the best players of this game.
